Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Seasonal

Become part of the Public Safety Team at Six Flags St. Louis and help provide exceptional emergency medical care to guests and employees throughout the park. This seasonal position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment while promoting a culture centered on safety and outstanding customer service.

As an EMT, you will deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) care, respond to medical emergencies, maintain first aid equipment, and support the park’s overall emergency preparedness efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional emergency medical care in accordance with approved medical protocols and company safety standards
  • Evaluate patients and determine when advanced medical support or ambulance transport is required
  • Complete accurate patient care reports and medical documentation
  • Inspect, stock, and maintain first aid stations, medical supplies, and emergency equipment
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies throughout the park
  • Safely operate company vehicles when required
  • Perform routine safety inspections across park facilities
  • Assist with additional public safety duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current Missouri EMT-B certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • PHTLS or ITLS certification is preferred
  • Ability to successfully complete a written competency assessment with a minimum passing score of 75%
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and other flexible shifts
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, at heights, and in confined spaces when necessary
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment
  • Strong teamwork and customer service skills
