Job Description

We are currently hiring Full-Time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to become part of our expanding EMS team. This position features 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in your community. You’ll deliver high-quality pre-hospital medical care, transport patients safely, and work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment that encourages career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings
  • Safely transport patients to hospitals and other healthcare facilities
  • Monitor, document, and report patient conditions using an electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) system
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatments, and patient outcomes
  • Coordinate with hospitals, dispatch, and emergency response personnel to ensure seamless patient care
  • Follow all company policies, EMS protocols, and safety regulations
  • Operate ambulances responsibly while maintaining an excellent driving record
  • Inspect and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current South Carolina EMT certification
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
  • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Comfortable working independently as well as within a team-oriented environment
