Job Description
Location: Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living

Cedar Crest is seeking a Security and Emergency Services (SES) Supervisor to support operations within our secure, gated retirement community. This leadership role assists with policy compliance, quality assurance initiatives, internal investigations, staff training, and departmental administration. The Supervisor plays a key part in maintaining a safe environment while delivering outstanding service and hospitality to residents, visitors, and team members.

EMT or EMR certification strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee community security operations including gatehouse control, patrol services, visitor/vendor registration, access management, and key control

  • Support and monitor safety initiatives such as workplace incident response, inspections, hazard communication compliance, and respiratory fit testing programs

  • Collaborate with the SES Manager to maintain and enhance Emergency Preparedness Plans

  • Ensure accurate completion of incident documentation, shift reports, and service call responses

  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members

  • Develop staff schedules, approve time records, and conduct evaluations

  • Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and clear communication to team members

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in a Security & Emergency Services leadership position or 1 year in an Erickson SES supervisory/assistant leadership role

  • At least 1 year of experience as an emergency responder

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Current Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification

  • All required certifications must remain active throughout employment

Starting Pay: $27.50 per hour
