MediQuest is recruiting an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a night-shift position supporting organ recovery operations in San Bernardino, California. This opportunity is suited to EMTs, paramedics, combat medics, corpsmen, emergency room technicians, and qualified science graduates with relevant healthcare experience.

In this role, you will collaborate with intensive care unit (ICU) nurses and medical professionals to collect donor information, review clinical data, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate time-sensitive processes related to organ recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with ICU nurses and medical staff to gather and verify donor information.
• Review and interpret relevant clinical data to support time-sensitive donor processes.
• Assist with logistical coordination related to organ recovery operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure information is communicated appropriately.
• Support communication between healthcare professionals and other personnel involved in the process.
• Follow established procedures for handling clinical information and coordinating operational activities.
• Help ensure donor-related processes are completed efficiently and accurately during overnight shifts.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant healthcare or emergency medical experience.
• Experience as an EMT, paramedic, combat medic, corpsman, or emergency room technician.
• Current EMT or paramedic license/certification, or another relevant qualification accepted by the employer.
• Medical scribe or COPE Health Scholar experience may be accepted with a bachelor’s degree.
• Clean driving record, as the position involves the use of a company-provided vehicle.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including alternating weekends.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay and Schedule

• Base pay of $25.50–$27.75 per hour.
• Four hours of overtime per shift, as stated in the posting.
• Overtime pay of up to $41.63 per hour, subject to applicable conditions.
• Overnight schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Seven shifts per two-week pay period, with alternating weekends.
