First Choice Medical Transport is a North Carolina-based provider of BLS ambulance services, specializing in non-emergent medical transportation. We proudly serve patients traveling to hospitals, nursing and rehab facilities, dialysis centers, doctor offices, and cancer treatment centers.

We are seeking a dedicated EMT to join our team and ensure safe, compassionate care during every patient transport.

Job Overview

  • Transport patients safely via stretcher or wheelchair to medical appointments and facilities

  • Monitor patient condition, including vital signs, during transport

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and family members

  • Maintain professionalism and provide compassionate patient care

Qualifications

  • Current North Carolina OEMS EMT certification (minimum Basic level)

  • Valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to lift and maneuver patients and equipment safely

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Requirements

  • Accurately complete documentation and patient care reports

  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and restocking of vehicles and medical equipment

  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures

  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
