Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Working alongside physicians, nurses, dispatchers, and fellow EMS professionals, you’ll provide safe and compassionate interfacility transportation, medical appointment transfers, ventilator transports, and long-distance patient transfers while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care within your EMT scope of practice
- Safely transport patients between healthcare facilities, appointments, and other destinations
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and provide ongoing care throughout transport
- Complete accurate electronic patient care reports (ePCR) and required documentation
- Conduct daily ambulance inspections and ensure vehicles are clean, stocked, and ready for service
- Maintain medical equipment and replenish supplies as needed
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, hospital personnel, dispatch, and coworkers
- Follow infection control procedures, including proper PPE use and equipment decontamination
- Adhere to all state EMS protocols, company policies, and chain-of-command procedures
- Participate in station maintenance and support daily operational readiness
Minimum Qualifications
- Current EMT certification in the state(s) where you will be assigned
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (or state-issued ID for non-driving positions)
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) certification or willingness to obtain it through company training
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
- Authorization to work in the United States
