Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional BLS/ALS care and monitoring during transport across Miami-Dade County.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, receiving facilities, and medical staff.
  • Ensure the ambulance is fully stocked and meets all Florida Department of Health standards.
  • Prepare accurate and timely Patient Care Reports (PCRs) via electronic tablets.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely through the South Florida traffic environment.

Requirements:

  • Current Florida State EMT or Paramedic License.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification.
  • (For Paramedics) Current ACLS and PALS Certifications.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record (EVOC preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade County geography and medical facilities.
  • A professional demeanor and a commitment to patient advocacy.
