We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and front-office operations within our healthcare team. This role carries out patient care duties and administrative responsibilities in accordance with training and demonstrated competencies. All clinical tasks are performed under the supervision and delegation of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse.
The Medical Assistant helps maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and staff by following established safety standards and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations and treatments, preparing patients for visits, documenting information accurately, and completing clerical tasks as needed. The ideal candidate can evaluate situations from multiple perspectives, contribute to practical solutions, and participate in implementing care plans while monitoring outcomes.
Success in this position requires strong collaboration with other departments, adherence to organizational policies, and consistent efficiency in daily workflows. The Medical Assistant is expected to use resources responsibly and ethically while delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Qualifications
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Certifications (one of the following required):

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

Emergency Medical Technician β Basic (EMT-B)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
Experience:

Less than one year of related healthcare experience required
