Position Overview
The EMT / Health & Wellness Specialist plays a vital role in protecting the well-being of field personnel at active project sites. This position emphasizes injury prevention, on-site medical response, and close coordination with supervising clinicians and safety teams. The role offers a high level of independence in a dynamic field setting, supported by an established clinical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical assessments, provide first aid, and implement care plans under the direction of a licensed physician.

  • Support case management efforts through follow-up evaluations, referrals, and coordination of continued care.

  • Foster strong working relationships with employees, site leadership, and healthcare partners to ensure timely and effective communication.

  • Promote injury prevention initiatives, including stretching programs, ergonomic education, and wellness coaching.

  • Accurately document all medical interactions and maintain organized health records.

  • Maintain clinic readiness by ensuring supplies are stocked and the treatment area remains clean and compliant.

  • Collaborate with site safety personnel to assist with orientations, training sessions, and health-related programming.

  • Perform additional program-based duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Current BLS, CPR, and First Aid certifications required; EMT or NREMT credential preferred.

  • 3–4 years of experience in emergency services, occupational health, military medicine, or a comparable environment.

  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Duties performed both indoors and at active field locations.

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and lift between 20–50 pounds as needed.
