Job Overview

AMR is immediately hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a full-time opportunity in Payson. In this role, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, provide patient care, and deliver professional, compassionate service throughout each transport and response.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance.
• Assess patients and determine appropriate medical care based on their condition.
• Provide emergency treatment using approved EMT techniques, equipment, and procedures.
• Accurately document patient information, medical conditions, treatments, and services while protecting patient confidentiality and rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and properly stocked patient-care environment.
• Operate an ambulance safely in accordance with company policies, traffic regulations, and emergency vehicle procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs.
• Maintain professional teamwork and support high standards of patient care.
• Follow applicable safety, infection-control, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current state EMT license.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Current BLS certification.
• NREMT certification.
• Driving record that meets company requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete a physical agility test.
• Some professional experience preferred, particularly in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or emergency medical services experience.
