Role Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you will support providers with patient care, exams, and clinical procedures to ensure a seamless experience for our patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing patient triage, recording vital signs, and updating medical charts

  • Collecting blood samples, performing venipuncture, and completing lab work

  • Administering medications and immunizations under provider guidance

  • Preparing treatment rooms and assisting patients from the waiting area to exam rooms

  • Supporting clinical procedures as instructed by providers

Qualifications

Applicants should meet one of the following criteria:

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or other relevant program

  • Active RMA or CMA certification

  • Minimum of six months experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred candidates have prior experience in urgent care, emergency departments, or other ambulatory clinics. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. Certifications from American Safety Health Institute or National Safety Council are a plus.
