Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 for MA & Medical Office Specialist new hires in Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices. Offer valid January 1 – May 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning.

  • Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with procedures.

  • Apply knowledge of patient growth and development to provide age-appropriate care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

  • Support smooth patient flow and operational efficiency within the department.

  • Operate healthcare technology and software systems efficiently.

  • Travel to satellite offices as required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic preferred.

Certifications:

  • CPR certification preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with EHR systems such as Meditech or Epic preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions when needed.

  • Flexible, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
