Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 for MA & Medical Office Specialist new hires in Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices. Offer valid January 1 – May 1, 2026.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning.

Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with procedures.

Apply knowledge of patient growth and development to provide age-appropriate care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Support smooth patient flow and operational efficiency within the department.

Operate healthcare technology and software systems efficiently.

Travel to satellite offices as required.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic preferred.
Certifications:

CPR certification preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Familiarity with EHR systems such as Meditech or Epic preferred.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and make decisions when needed.

Flexible, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
