Paramedic Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency and non-emergency medical care during patient transportation.
• Evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate treatment according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients throughout transport and respond to changes in their condition.
• Communicate patient information effectively with hospitals, healthcare facilities, dispatchers, and EMS personnel.
• Complete accurate patient care reports and required documentation.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate approach with every patient.
• Follow applicable EMS procedures, safety requirements, and clinical standards.
• Work collaboratively with EMTs, Paramedics, and other members of the healthcare team.

Paramedic Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Current Paramedic certification and/or state-required license.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced situations.
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to providing safe and compassionate patient care.
