Medcor is seeking a dedicated EMT, Paramedic, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Clinic Manager at our on-site occupational health clinic in Oakland, Iowa. This is a full-time opportunity with a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Role Overview

As Clinic Manager, you will oversee day-to-day clinic operations while remaining actively involved in patient care. This leadership role requires coordination with client representatives in health, safety, environmental services, human resources, and benefits, as well as collaboration with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct daily clinic operations, workflow, and scheduling

  • Deliver high-quality occupational health services and customer support

  • Evaluate and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using evidence-based clinical protocols

  • Manage workers’ compensation cases and support Return-to-Work (RTW) programs

  • Maintain OSHA documentation and regulatory compliance

  • Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings

  • Perform Physical Ability Tests (PATs)

  • Maintain accurate records within electronic medical systems

  • Coordinate with external healthcare providers when necessary

  • Promote on-site wellness initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active licensure (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN) and current CPR/BLS certification

  • Ability to lead and support clinic operations effectively

  • Strong technical skills, including EMR proficiency and general technology use

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (emergency equipment bag)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive, proactive, and patient-focused mindset

Preferred:

  • Experience in occupational or worksite health settings

  • Background in emergency or critical care environments
