Job Description
Industrial Medical Provider (LPN, Paramedic, or RN) – Full-Time
Unify Health Services is seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to join our occupational health team as an Industrial Medical Provider. This on-site position supports the health and safety of employees within a manufacturing environment by delivering quality medical care, injury management, and wellness services.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Shift: Second Shift
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
- Location: York, Pennsylvania
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses in both clinic and production settings.
- Perform pre-employment and post-offer physical examinations.
- Administer vaccinations and promote employee wellness through health education.
- Assist with return-to-work programs, including urine drug screening (UDS) and breath alcohol testing (BAT).
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
- Monitor and manage medical supply inventory.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and healthcare team members.
- Promote workplace health and safety while following company policies and OSHA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or certification as an LPN, Paramedic, or Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Minimum of six months to one year of clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous occupational or industrial healthcare experience.
- Experience administering immunizations.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, workplace safety procedures, and occupational health practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Frequent reaching, bending, gripping, and handling equipment.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
