Overview

Methodist Northeast Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a skilled ED Paramedic to join our patient care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality emergency care in the hospital’s Emergency Department while supporting the hospital’s mission to serve the community with purpose, compassion, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.

  • Maintain clinical competency and complete required training, certifications, and continuing education.

  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects.

  • Use SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for effective communication.

  • Represent the hospital’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions.

  • Attend departmental meetings, in-services, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

  • Education/Certifications: Current Texas Paramedic (EMT-P) certification; BLS Healthcare Provider required.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of field EMS or hospital clinical experience.

  • Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.

  • Must obtain PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of hire.

  • Ongoing training and competency assessments as defined by the hospital and department.
