Job Description

Best Care EMS is currently seeking qualified EMT-Basics and Advanced EMTs to join our team across all shifts. We are looking for dependable and motivated professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care in both emergency and non-emergency situations.

Sign-On Bonus

  • $3,000 for full-time hires

  • $1,500 for part-time hires

Benefits & Compensation

  • Weekday overnight differential: + $2.00/hour (Monday–Friday)

  • Weekend differential: + $3.00/hour (Saturday–Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient conditions and assist medical staff when necessary

  • Deliver basic life support care in accordance with certification level

  • Transport patients safely between locations, including healthcare facilities

  • Operate ambulance vehicles responsibly under various conditions

  • Assist with lifting, positioning, and moving patients and equipment

  • Communicate patient status and care details during handoff to receiving personnel

  • Accurately complete all required EMS reports and documentation

  • Perform regular inspections of vehicles and medical equipment

  • Maintain ambulance readiness by cleaning, restocking, and preparing for the next call

  • Report mechanical or equipment concerns promptly

  • Follow all safety procedures and driving regulations established by the company

  • Carry out additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • Current TDSHS EMT certification (Basic or Advanced)

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history

  • Minimum of one year experience operating an ambulance

  • Ability to successfully pass a background check

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
