Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

We are looking for a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our emergency medical services team. In this role, you will provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care, respond to emergency situations, and safely transport patients while delivering compassionate, professional medical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and evaluate patients to determine the appropriate level of care.
  • Deliver first aid and Basic Life Support treatment according to established protocols.
  • Safely transport injured or ill patients to hospitals or other healthcare facilities.
  • Communicate patient information clearly with dispatchers, emergency personnel, and receiving medical staff.
  • Operate and monitor communication equipment during emergency responses.
  • Assist with patient extrication and movement when necessary.
  • Complete accurate patient care reports and maintain required documentation.
  • Ensure ambulances and medical equipment remain clean, stocked, and ready for service.

Qualifications

  • Current EMT certification and all credentials required to operate on a BLS ambulance service.
  • Valid Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) certification.
  • Previous EMS, ambulance, or emergency healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and emergency patient care procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and work efficiently during high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Flexible part-time and per diem positions are also available for qualified EMTs seeking to work around their personal schedules. Monthly shift scheduling provides flexibility while offering competitive hourly pay. Applicants must hold current EMT, EVO, EMR, and other required certifications to provide Basic Life Support services.
