Overview:
Covenant Health Urgent Care is committed to delivering exceptional patient care to the Knoxville community. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) play a critical role in supporting our clinical teams and ensuring fast, friendly, and accessible healthcare at our urgent care centers. In partnership with Covenant Health, our facilities offer advanced on-site digital X-ray, EKG, and laboratory testing seven days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Role Summary
As an EMT at Covenant Health Urgent Care, you will work closely with our providers to perform a broad range of clinical tasks, including:
- Administering injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic orthopedic care
- Taking vital signs, triaging patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care
- Applying wound dressings and splints, performing lab tests, and administering medications under provider guidance
- Making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes with every shift

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current EMT certification (EMT, EMT-B, or EMT-I)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Availability for 12-hour shifts including weekends (no overnight shifts)
- Strong customer service skills and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
