Position Overview
Advanced Care Partners is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide care and support for medically fragile children in our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) programs. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), the EMT assists with daily care, emergency preparedness, and basic clinical tasks, ensuring compliance with Florida pediatric care regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support patient care under RN supervision, including monitoring vital signs and responding to patient needs.

  • Assist with respiratory treatments, tracheostomy care, and suctioning according to training and competency.

  • Help with feeding, hygiene, toileting, positioning, and mobility activities.

  • Observe and promptly report any changes in patient condition to the supervising RN.

  • Participate in emergency response procedures and support stabilization efforts as directed.

  • Maintain a safe environment, follow infection control practices, and ensure cleanliness of care areas.

  • Complete required documentation and actively participate in training, skill validation, and competency checks.

Locations & Services

  • Florida: Pediatric care through PPEC centers in Port St. Lucie, with additional locations planned in Fort Pierce and Titusville.

  • Georgia & Texas: Private duty nursing care available statewide in Georgia and in San Antonio, Texas.
