Overview
Methodist Northeast Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a skilled ED Paramedic to join our patient care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality emergency care in the hospital’s Emergency Department while supporting the hospital’s mission to serve the community with purpose, compassion, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.

Maintain clinical competency and complete required training, certifications, and continuing education.

Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects.

Use SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for effective communication.

Represent the hospital’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions.

Attend departmental meetings, in-services, and training sessions as required.
Qualifications

Education/Certifications: Current Texas Paramedic (EMT-P) certification; BLS Healthcare Provider required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of field EMS or hospital clinical experience.

Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.

Must obtain PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Ongoing training and competency assessments as defined by the hospital and department.
