Event Paramedic – On Site EMS and Rescue

Role Overview
As an Event Paramedic, you will deliver on-site emergency medical services to event attendees, staff, and participants. From minor medical concerns to serious traumatic incidents, your assessment and intervention skills will help ensure a safe environment for everyone present. This role allows you to work in fast-paced, high-energy settings while maintaining professional clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver emergency care during public events and large gatherings

Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate BLS or ALS interventions

Coordinate with fellow medical staff and event personnel for effective triage and response

Maintain equipment and medical supplies in a state of readiness

Accurately complete patient care documentation
Required Qualifications
-
Current Oregon Paramedic or EMT license (required)

Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset

Proficiency in patient assessment and emergency care

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of triage procedures

Ability to lift and move patients as needed

Capability to respond confidently in urgent or high-pressure situations

Paramedics: Valid AHA CPR and ACLS certification

EMTs: Valid AHA CPR certification
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous experience in emergency medical services
-
PHTLS certification (or willingness to obtain within one year)

Experience providing care in large crowd environments
