Now Hiring Certified EMSVO / EVOC Ambulance Drivers – Minimum 1 Year Experience Required

Hayatt Health Service Ambulance proudly serves Philadelphia and neighboring counties, providing top-quality emergency medical transportation. Located in North Philadelphia at B Street and Venango Street, we are seeking committed Ambulance Drivers to join our team. Our goal is to ensure safe and efficient Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance transport for patients traveling to hospitals, rehab centers, and other healthcare facilities. If you’re dedicated to patient safety and community care, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities.

  • Operate stretchers, stair chairs, and other patient transport equipment.

  • Assist and lift patients safely, up to 150 lbs.

  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients and families.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked ambulance.

  • Support passengers during boarding and exiting the vehicle.

  • Employ professional techniques to manage patient behavior when needed.

  • Clean and organize ambulance vehicles and medical equipment regularly.

Requirements

  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with a clean driving history.

  • Certification in Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC/EMSVO).

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in ambulance operations or related driving roles.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to accurately complete reports and maintain documentation.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

  • Capability to manage passenger behavior professionally in high-pressure scenarios.
