Founded in 1944 along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, Beaufort Memorial is a not-for-profit hospital licensed for 201 beds—including 169 acute-care, 14 rehabilitation, and 18 mental health beds. Serving as an acute-care hospital and regional referral center, we are the largest medical facility between Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina.

Position: Emergency Room EMT / Emergency Room Technician

Role Overview
Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Room EMT/Technician supports the delivery of patient care by assisting with clinical and technical tasks. This role requires attentiveness to the unique needs of each patient and the ability to adjust care approaches accordingly. The position is an essential part of the care team, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient experiences.
Requirements
Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
-
At least six (6) months of hospital or healthcare experience preferred

Experience with phlebotomy and 12-lead EKGs is a plus
Certifications / Licenses:

First Responder, EMT, Paramedic, or CNA certification required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to the first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association)
