The Role – Urgent Care Nurse or Paramedic
We’re on the hunt for dedicated and passionate Urgent Care Nurses or Paramedics to join our Coburg clinic. As a key player in our multi-disciplinary team, you’ll make sure all patients who rock up to Urgent Care are properly triaged, assessed, and given top-notch frontline care alongside our skilled Urgent Care doctors.

What You’ll Be Doing
Triage all patients who come through the door to Urgent Care
Carry out thorough and accurate assessments
Jump into action for any triaged patients needing immediate emergency care on arrival or if they take a turn for the worse
Handle procedural work like suturing and plastering
Roll with the punches in our dynamic Urgent Care environment
Deliver high-quality, person-centered care working alongside patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
Make sure patients get the clinical outcomes they’re after
Give patients the essential health education they need
Get all your documentation done accurately and on time

What We’re Looking For
AHPRA Registered Nurse or Paramedic
You’ll need to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Previous experience in triage in an emergency setting, remote or urgent care setting – ideally at least 1 year minimum
5 years post-grad experience preferred
Ability to suss out when someone’s health is deteriorating and escalate appropriately
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – and top-notch critical thinking
Autonomy: Ability to work independently and delegate when you need to
Passion for People: A friendly approach and genuine passion for helping others
