- Hourly Rate: Up to $37.02, depending on experience.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years at the time of hire; maximum age of 40 at original appointment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Vision correctable to 20/20.
- Possess and maintain Ohio Firefighter I and EMT-B certifications.
- Hold, or obtain within the probationary period, Ohio Firefighter II and EMT-P certifications.
- Complete NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 courses within 90 days of appointment.

Extra Credit Opportunities
Additional points may be awarded for one of the following:

Documentation must accompany the city application.
Driver’s License & Insurability
Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license at the time of hire and maintain insurability under the City’s insurance requirements throughout employment.
