EMT / Paramedic – CAREonsite

Job Summary

Join CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, as an EMT or Paramedic and help protect the health and safety of workers in occupational and industrial environments. This PRN role combines emergency medical response, workplace injury care, clinical documentation, and safety support.

You will provide care ranging from basic first aid to life-saving medical treatment while working independently or as part of a team.

Schedule

  • Employment Type: PRN
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to workplace medical emergencies.
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care according to applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Evaluate workplace injuries and illnesses and determine appropriate treatment or follow-up.
  • Communicate with physicians, medical professionals, and treatment facilities when additional care is required.
  • Interact professionally with clients and site personnel regarding medical incidents and workplace hazards.
  • Monitor changing site conditions and help identify potential health and safety risks.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care and quality.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and medical incidents.
  • Support Site Safety Managers in maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Current EMT or Paramedic license applicable to the work location.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least 2 years of emergency medical experience, such as emergency department or 911 ambulance experience.
  • 911 emergency response experience is required.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical, computer, and multitasking abilities.
