Overview
The EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) provides patient care and ambulance operation across pre-hospital settings, the Emergency Department, and other hospital units. This role involves assisting in the safe transport, assessment, and care of patients while supporting hospital staff to ensure smooth, high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain hospital ambulances safely and efficiently.

Assist with patient care in the field, Emergency Department, and hospital units as directed.

Support clinical staff during emergencies and routine patient transfers.

Maintain proper documentation and adherence to medical protocols.

Ensure all ambulance equipment and supplies are properly stocked and functional.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

Current EMT-I certification

Valid California driver’s license
-
California ambulance license

Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate

BLS Healthcare Provider certification
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred
