Emerus is seeking skilled clinical professionals to join our Night Shift team at Westover Hills, a 16-bed small-format hospital (8 ER, 8 Inpatient). This PRN position offers flexible scheduling, professional growth, and a chance to work in a patient-centered environment.

Position Purpose:
The clinical team member provides technical and supportive patient care in alignment with individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, document, and report clinical data, including vitals, intake/output, and lab specimens.

• Assist with laboratory testing according to COLA and CLIA standards.

• Support patient activities and provide care as directed by charge nurse or designee.

• Administer superficial wound care and maintain patient safety per age and condition.

• Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

• Ensure clean, safe environments, performing proper aseptic techniques and infection control.

• Aid with admissions, transfers, and discharges; prepare patients for exams/procedures.

• Maintain care areas with appropriate supplies and assist with patient restraints as needed.

• Travel across facility locations as required.

• Participate in staff meetings and complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus one of the following:

  • Medical Corpsman with 1+ year relevant experience

  • EMT-P, AEMT, or Licensed Paramedic with 1+ year experience

  • EMT-B with 1+ year ER experience (Oklahoma, North TX, Wisconsin & PA)

  • First-year Nursing student with 1+ year clinical experience

  • CNA with 3+ years hospital experience (Wisconsin only)

  • Certified Anesthesia/OR Tech with 3+ years experience (Wisconsin only)

• Current BLS through AHA or Red Cross required

• ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets; PALS strongly preferred

• Experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation preferred

• Market-specific licensing requirements: Active EMT-P or AEMT (Las Vegas), Act 33 & Act 73 clearance (PA)

• Fluency in English, both written and oral, required

Shift & Schedule:

• Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM

• PRN (as needed)
