Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to become part of our response team. In this role, you will provide frontline medical care, evaluate patient conditions, and deliver appropriate treatment during emergency situations. You will collaborate closely with dispatch personnel and receiving medical facilities while ensuring accurate and complete documentation for every call. The ideal candidate demonstrates compassion, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations while maintaining composure in high-stress environments

  • Assess patient conditions quickly and prioritize care based on severity

  • Deliver emergency medical treatment and basic life support as required

  • Gather patient information and clearly relay findings to hospitals and medical staff

  • Coordinate care with other EMS professionals and healthcare providers

  • Monitor, stock, and maintain medical equipment and supplies on response vehicles

  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certifications and enhance skills

Qualifications

  • Current EMT certification in accordance with state and federal regulations

  • Ability to make rapid decisions in emergency scenarios

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

  • IV certification required

  • Current CPR certification required
