Centstone is seeking a qualified Ambulance Paramedic to provide professional emergency medical care in Laramie, Wyoming. The Paramedic will deliver direct patient care within the scope of a Wyoming Paramedic license, established clinical protocols, state regulations, and medical direction.

This position requires a skilled EMS professional who can accurately assess patients, provide appropriate emergency treatment, administer medications, maintain detailed clinical documentation, and ensure ambulances remain fully prepared for service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the authorized scope of practice and established EMS protocols.
• Conduct thorough, population-specific patient assessments and identify appropriate treatment priorities.
• Develop and provide appropriate patient care based on clinical findings and established medical guidelines.
• Administer emergency medications in accordance with Wyoming Paramedic scope-of-practice requirements.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and care using the WATRS reporting system.
• Ensure all patient records comply with applicable Wyoming state requirements and documentation standards.
• Inspect, clean, stock, and maintain ambulances and EMS stations so they remain ready for immediate deployment.
• Assist with patient care in other departments at Ivinson Memorial Hospital when requested and when activities fall within the Paramedic’s authorized scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of physicians, providers, and registered nurses when providing assistance outside the ambulance setting.
• Effectively prioritize responsibilities and manage available personnel, equipment, and other resources.
• Maintain compliance with applicable EMS regulations, clinical protocols, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current qualification and licensure as a Paramedic in accordance with Wyoming requirements.
• Ability to provide emergency medical care within the Wyoming Paramedic scope of practice.
• Strong patient assessment and emergency treatment skills.
• Ability to accurately complete electronic patient care documentation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while following medical direction, protocols, and organizational procedures.
• Commitment to patient safety, professionalism, and high-quality emergency medical care.
