Position Overview
We are currently hiring both newly certified and seasoned Paramedics (EMT-P) to join our expanding team. Team members respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, deliver advanced life support, and safely transport patients to appropriate healthcare facilities. Every provider plays a vital role in advancing positive health outcomes within our community.
Compensation & Schedule

Full-time starting pay: $30.00 per hour

Additional $3.00 per hour overnight differential

Active Paramedic certification required
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
-
Deliver advanced pre-hospital care in alignment with New York State protocols and regional standards

Prepare and inspect equipment to ensure operational readiness
-
Maintain ambulance cleanliness, organization, and supply levels
-
Treat patients, families, and bystanders with professionalism and empathy
-
Participate in continuing medical education to maintain clinical excellence
Safety & Compliance
-
Operate vehicles in accordance with NYS traffic laws and company policies
-
Utilize required personal protective equipment
-
Perform safe lifting, loading, and patient handling techniques
-
Immediately report vehicle or equipment concerns
Team & Professionalism
-
Report on time, in uniform, prepared for duty
-
Complete shift readiness checks and end-of-shift responsibilities
-
Uphold the company’s Code of Conduct and core values
-
Promote collaboration and support among colleagues
-
Represent the organization professionally within the community
Documentation & Reporting
-
Complete equipment and vehicle inspections each shift
-
Accurately document patient care encounters per company standards
-
Submit required reports (incident, safety, QA responses) before shift completion

Ensure documentation accuracy with crew verification
Qualifications
-
Meet New York State functional requirements for Paramedic (EMT-P)

Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
-
Ability to remain calm under pressure

Capability to lift up to 125 lbs independently (250 lbs with assistance)

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
-
Navigate major roadways and identify medical facilities accurately
Physical & Work Environment
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and exposure to outdoor conditions. Providers may encounter extreme weather, high noise levels, moving equipment, and potential exposure to infectious materials. Visual acuity, color recognition, and situational awareness are essential.
