Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Full-Time EMT in Charlotte, NC.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Compensation: $23.88/hour (paid weekly)

In this role, you will provide on-site medical response for workplace injuries and illnesses at a designated campus location. Care delivery is coordinated with the Emergency Response Team and supervised by a Registered Nurse.


Key Responsibilities

Under RN supervision, duties include:

  • Deliver immediate assessment and treatment for employee injuries or health concerns

  • Conduct routine facility walk-throughs during each shift

  • Monitor recovery progress and follow up with injured personnel

  • Maintain accurate records using a web-based occupational health system

  • Update injury tracking reports and assist with documentation for physician visits

  • Perform hearing, vision, and pulmonary function screenings

  • Conduct respirator fit testing and post-offer medical screenings (including drug testing)

  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment; reorder as necessary

  • Inspect and log AEDs, oxygen units, emergency response bags, and safety equipment

  • Calibrate testing devices and maintain compliance logs

  • Complete weekly eyewash station inspections

  • Coordinate hazardous material pickups when needed

  • Participate in safety meetings and Emergency Response Team activities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical department

  • Communicate shift updates to incoming EMT staff


Qualifications

Required:

  • Current North Carolina EMT license

  • Minimum one year of EMT experience

  • Active BLS certification

  • Bloodborne Pathogen training

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to pass background screening and drug test

Preferred:

  • Previous security or industrial site experience

  • Strong observational and customer service skills

  • Professional demeanor and flexibility with scheduling
