Medical Assistant (CMA/EMT/LPN) – Griffin Region

Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week | Rotating weekends

Peachtree Immediate Care, a leading urgent care provider in Georgia, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at the Locust Grove location. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with exams, procedures, and patient care tasks.

  • Take vital signs, maintain accurate medical records, and document patient information.

  • Perform lab tests, administer medications, and provide wound care under supervision.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms and medical equipment.

  • Support radiography and occupational health services as needed.

  • Ensure patient comfort, addressing questions and concerns professionally.

  • Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a healthy environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT.

  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

  • Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.

  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with team members.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic medical records).


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical environment (preferred but not required).


Work Environment

  • Modern, fully equipped urgent care centers.

  • Hands-on, patient-facing role directly impacting patient health and safety.

  • Exposure to typical healthcare scenarios, including various illnesses and medical conditions.
