Corewell Health is seeking dedicated Medical Assistants/EMTs to support our outpatient clinics across Michigan. With over 300 locations and a variety of primary care and specialty practices, this role offers the opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience or focus on a specialty that interests you. New hires are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
Role Overview:
As a member of the clinical support team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care. Under supervision, you will perform technical and clinically oriented tasks, helping to maintain office efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and clinical procedures.
- Support physicians and staff in daily clinical activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Help ensure clinic operations run efficiently.
- Participate in office and clinical training as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program. Candidates with LPN, EMT, ER Tech, or Paramedic certification are encouraged to apply.
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) within 30 days of hire.
- Preferred: 1 year of healthcare experience in a clinical or physician office setting.
- Nursing students who have begun clinical coursework may also be considered.
