Are you a Medical Assistant, EMT, or healthcare support professional eager to move beyond routine vitals and paperwork? At Brain & Spine Wellness Center, we focus on functional neurology, chiropractic care, and neurorehabilitation for patients with complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

While this role is officially titled Chiropractic Therapy Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will immerse you in hands-on neurological therapy. You will assist with advanced diagnostics and guide patients through brain-based rehabilitation under the direct supervision of our doctors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and record patient vital signs accurately.

  • Assist with neurological diagnostics, including videooculography (VOG) and balance/postural assessments.

  • Support patients through neurologically-focused therapies, such as vestibular rehab, eye-tracking exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, under doctor supervision.

  • Observe patient responses during therapy and diagnostics, reporting findings to the supervising physician.

  • Prepare, clean, and sanitize therapy and diagnostic areas between patients.

  • Maintain therapy equipment and ensure supplies are stocked for efficient daily operations.

  • Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Excellent communication skills and patient interaction abilities.

  • Comfortable using medical technology and diagnostic tools.

  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.

  • Physically able to stand, move, and assist patients throughout the workday.

  • Genuine interest in neurology, rehabilitation, and innovative healthcare approaches.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $45,000–$50,000, with increases following required licensure.

  • Paid major holidays: Christmas, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July.

  • Five vacation days and five sick days annually (unpaid initially). Paid time off accrues and increases with tenure.

Work Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a one-hour unpaid break daily:

  • Monday: 7:45 am – 5:30 pm

  • Tuesday: 7:45 am – 4:45 pm

  • Wednesday: 7:45 am – 5:30 pm

  • Thursday: 7:45 am – 5:00 pm

  • Friday: 8:15 am – 3:30 pm
