Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Now Hiring – Part-Time EMT

Pay Rate: $26.33 – $38.80 per hour (12-hour shifts)

We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls while delivering high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients, determine appropriate care, and provide emergency medical services using approved techniques and equipment
  • Accurately document patient conditions, treatments, and transport details while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and fully stocked patient care environment
  • Utilize EMT skills including patient communication, medical equipment operation, and proper cleaning procedures
  • Safely operate an ambulance in compliance with company policies and all applicable traffic and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with public safety personnel, allied health professionals, and fellow EMTs

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in community outreach programs to support a positive company image and strengthen community relationships

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • California State EMT License
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • California Ambulance Driver’s Certificate
  • Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Minimum of 6 months ambulance experience
  • Driving record compliant with company policy
  • Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test
  • Previous work experience, preferably in healthcare

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional healthcare-related experience
