Position Details:

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), daytime schedule

  • Location: Wildwood

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for provider visits by documenting chief complaints, collecting vital signs, reviewing medical history, allergies, and medications.

  • Perform medication reconciliation and address preventive care gaps such as screenings and risk assessments.

  • Repeat elevated blood pressure readings when necessary and complete preventive visit documentation in Epic.

  • Assist with in-office procedures including blood draws, EKGs, point-of-care testing, oxygen studies, and mental status evaluations.

  • Administer immunizations and injections within scope of practice.

  • Coordinate follow-up appointments according to clinic protocols.

  • Partner with providers and care teams to implement and monitor individualized care plans.


Qualifications

Medical Assistant (Non-Certified):

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire

  • Six months of healthcare experience preferred

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA):

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Active MA certification required

  • BLS certification within 90 days

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

  • Practical Nursing diploma

  • Active LPN license

  • Six months of clinical experience preferred
