Position: Local Contract EMT / ER Technician

Overview:
eTeam Inc – Secondary is seeking a qualified EMT / ER Technician for an 8-week local contract assignment in Flushing, NY. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, working 8-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting emergency department operations and assisting patients with clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care support in the emergency department as an EMT or ER Technician.

  • Assist with EKGs, arrhythmia monitoring, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures.

  • Perform routine patient observations and communicate changes to the nursing team.

  • Support efficient workflow in the emergency department, ensuring patient safety and care standards.

  • Maintain proper documentation and follow hospital protocols and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ED Tech, Nursing Attendant, or equivalent role.

  • Experience in phlebotomy and EKG procedures.

  • Current EKG/Arrhythmia certification.

  • BLS certification (AHA) required.

  • COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccination required.

  • Hours: 40 per week

  • Shift: Nights, 8 hours
