Job Description

The Town of Seabrook is currently inviting applications for a full-time Firefighter/EMT position in accordance with its personnel policies. This opportunity is open to qualified candidates interested in serving the community through fire protection and emergency medical services.


Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • At least 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Successful completion of written, oral, and physical assessments administered through New Hampshire Fire Standards and Training, or qualify through lateral transfer under applicable state regulations

  • Ability to pass a background investigation and medical evaluation

  • Certification as a New Hampshire Firefighter I (Firefighter II preferred)

  • National Registry EMT certification required (Paramedic certification preferred)

  • Must obtain a New Hampshire CDL Class B license within one year of hire

  • Must obtain a Driver-Operator certification within one year of hire


Additional Information

Compensation is set at $26.92 per hour for this full-time role. The Town may also consider other relevant qualifications such as prior experience and employment history when evaluating candidates.
