We are seeking a Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services (SES) to join our gated retirement community team. The SES Supervisor ensures a safe and secure environment while providing leadership in program compliance, quality assurance, training, investigations, and administrative operations. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, hospitality, and proactive safety measures.

Preferred Certification:

  • EMT or EMR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee community security operations, including gatehouse management, patrols, visitor/contractor registration, access control, and key management.

  • Monitor and enforce safety programs, conduct inspections, respond to incidents, and support hazard communication and emergency preparedness initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the SES Manager to update and maintain Emergency Preparedness Plans.

  • Ensure accurate completion of incident and shift reports while responding promptly to service calls.

  • Assist with recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management of team members.

  • Develop schedules, review timesheets, and provide ongoing supervision, motivation, and communication to staff.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in SES management or 1+ year in an Erickson SES Supervisor/Assistant Manager role.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Emergency Responder.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Emergency Medical Responder Certification (maintained throughout employment).

Compensation:

  • Starting at $27.50/hour
