Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Part-Time Opportunity

Join our team as a Part-Time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and help provide essential emergency and non-emergency medical services to patients in your community. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $20.30 per hour, with additional shift differentials available for eligible evening, overnight, and weekend schedules.

Candidates must hold a valid EMT certification to be considered for this position.

Position Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency and scheduled medical calls while providing safe, compassionate patient care.
  • Assess patients, determine appropriate treatment needs, and deliver care using approved EMT procedures, protocols, and medical equipment.
  • Monitor patient conditions and accurately document assessments, treatments, and transportation details while protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked ambulance environment to support quality patient care.
  • Safely operate emergency response vehicles while following company policies, state regulations, and applicable traffic laws.
  • Utilize communication systems, medical equipment, and operational tools effectively.
  • Work closely with paramedics, healthcare professionals, public safety agencies, and fellow EMTs to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, respect, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current EMT certification or ability to obtain national EMT registration within one year.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Driving record that meets company standards.
  • Ability to successfully complete a physical agility assessment.
  • Previous healthcare or emergency medical experience preferred.
