Position Overview:
The Clinical Care Coordinator I provides skilled patient care tailored to age-specific populations and assists with managing patient care in a physician office environment under the direct guidance of a healthcare provider.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcare Association (NHA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) via American Medical Technologists (AMT); Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) via National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); or a certified EMT.

Note: Medical assistants with 1–2 years of experience who hold certification from another agency or do not hold certification must register with one of the recognized certifying agencies and schedule an exam within six months of hire. Certification must be successfully obtained and submitted to HR within 12 months of employment.

  • Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in an outpatient physician office.

  • Familiarity with electronic practice management and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
