  • Hourly pay typically ranges from $24.08 to $30.10, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity

Role Overview

The EMT is responsible for delivering essential healthcare services to residents, including emergency response, patient assessment, medication administration, and life-saving interventions. In addition to clinical responsibilities, this role helps oversee daily program activities, ensuring resident safety, movement, and adherence to program structure.

You will also support Pioneer’s Residential Services by combining direct patient care with administrative duties to ensure effective and efficient healthcare delivery for individuals with behavioral health needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care and routine health services to residents
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments
  • Administer medications and perform necessary medical interventions
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Monitor resident safety and support daily program operations
  • Assist with both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure quality care delivery

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current National EMT certification or Washington State EMT license in good standing
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to meet all medical, organizational, and contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience working as an EMT
  • Experience supporting individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions
