Join our elite team of Advanced Care Paramedics and Emergency Services Officers supporting Queensland’s coal mining industry. We’re seeking experienced ESOs ready for their next challenge.
You’ll deliver critical emergency rescue services and work alongside our Advanced Care Paramedics to provide exceptional pre-hospital emergency care in challenging mining environments.
Each shift brings diverse emergency scenarios—from medical emergencies to rescue operations—along with essential administrative responsibilities that keep our services running smoothly.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Mandatory Requirements:
Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (essential)
Manual Driver’s License with Medium Rigid (MR) Class
Current certifications: LVR, CPR, Advanced First Aid, and Resuscitation
Computer literate – e.g., MS Office Suite
Proven mining experience in an emergency services or rescue role
Experience working in a State or Territory Fire Service (desirable)
WorkinQueensland coal mining operations require specific pre-requisite training and industry-mandated health assessments to ensure worker safety and compliance.-requisite Training Requirements:
Coal Board Medical (Rescue)
Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification
Standard 11 Certification
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong physical fitness, professional presentation, goal-oriented mindset, exceptional work ethic, patient-centered care philosophy, and the ability to work independently in remote environments.
