Overview

Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Purchase, NY (with travel to New Rochelle, NY)

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • One extended evening shift per week (Thursdays until 6:00 PM)

  • Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
    Flexibility is highly valued.

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and adaptable Medical Assistant to join a high-volume, patient-centered healthcare practice. This role supports providers at multiple office locations and is well suited for someone comfortable working in a dynamic clinical environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support healthcare providers during patient visits and medical procedures

  • Set up and sanitize exam rooms; monitor and restock clinical supplies

  • Measure and document vital signs and collect patient medical histories

  • Enter clinical information accurately into electronic health record systems

  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and established clinical policies

  • Deliver professional, compassionate service in a fast-paced practice

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required

  • CMA or RMA certification preferred

  • Equivalent experience may be considered, including:

    • Degree in Biology

    • EMT certification

    • Five (5) or more years of Medical Assistant experience

  • Experience with NextGen EHR is a plus
