Job Opportunity: Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B) – Starting at $18.99/hr

Workforce1 Healthcare Career Center is collaborating with leading healthcare organizations in New York City to place skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B) with a reputable medical transportation provider in the Bronx.

Compensation: $18.99 per hour or higher, depending on experience
Schedule: Flexible full-time and part-time positions available

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid New York State EMT certification and driver’s license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and Physical Agility Test (PAT)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
  • Evaluate and provide patient care using proper medical techniques and equipment
  • Safely operate ambulances in compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Accurately document patient information while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ensure vehicles and medical equipment are clean, organized, and fully stocked
